Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith appear on Eagles first injury report for Week 13 image

The Philadelphia Eagles have a couple of injuries to monitor ahead of their crucial Week 13 matchup with the Chicago Bears on Black Friday, as two key contributors on offense popped up on the first injury report of the week.

Star running back Saquon Barkley was listed as a limited participant due to a groin injury, while dynamic wide receiver DeVonta Smith was listed under the 'did not practice' section because of a shoulder/chest injury.

In addition to Barkley, safety Reed Blankenship and guard Landon Dickerson were also both listed as limited participants. Xavier Gipson, Brandon Graham, Lane Johnson and Andrew Mukuba joined Smith on the 'DNP' list. We already know that Mukuba won't be available this week, as he'll be sidelined indefinitely after suffering a fractured ankle against Dallas.

It's worth nothing that the injury report was just an estimation, as the Eagles only had a walkthrough on Tuesday, but having both Barkley and Smith being listed isn't ideal. They'll need both of those guys out there if they're going to get the offense on track against a Bears team that has won four straight games and currently sits atop the NFC North.

The Eagles have a short week after playing in Dallas on Sunday afternoon, so to be a bit banged up is expected, especially at this later stage in the season. It's not time to panic yet, but they have to hope that the injuries don't linger.
