The NFC East has proven to be one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL for the last 25 years, and one particular statistic shows just how balanced it's been.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the favorites to repeat as division champions this season, however, no NFC East team has done that in over two decades when the Birds won the division four straight times from 2001 to 2004.

While the Washington Commanders are coming off of one of their best seasons in forever, Jalen Hurts and Co. are eyeing a second consecutive Super Bowl title and consequently are hopeful that they can win the division in the process.

The Birds currently have -140 odds to win the NFC East, well ahead of the Commanders, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Given the fact that Nick Sirianni's team is bringing back all of its offensive weapons while keeping most of its starting defense intact there's a strong probability that the Eagles can finally end this curse and prove to their biggest rivals that they run the division.
