Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni released an official statement regarding the decision to fire offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo after a single season in the role.
In the statement, Sirianni credited Patullo for his part in Philadelphia's recent successes and shouldered the ultimate blame for the team coming up short in 2025.
"I have decided to make a change at offensive coordinator," Sirianni said in the statement. "I met with Kevin today to discuss the difficult decision, as he is a great coach who has my utmost respect. He has been integral to this team's success over the last five years, not only to the on-field product but behind the scenes as a valued leader for our players and organization. I have no doubt he will continue to have a successful coaching career.

"Ultimately, when we fall short of our goals that responsibility lies on my shoulders."
Moving on from Patullo was a no-brainer for Philadelphia given the way the Eagles offense looked throughout the 2025 campaign. Now, the team will have to add a new offensive coordinator for a fifth consecutive season.
Given the fact that the team's last two internal hires for the position failed, we can expect the Eagles to look outside of the building to fill the role. Luckily for Philly, there are several qualified candidates available on the market including Mike McDaniel, Brian Daboll, Kevin Stefanski and Kliff Kingsbury, among others.
