From Jalen Hurts to Zach Ertz, Howie Roseman's Eagles don't miss in Round 2. Here's who experts think is next image

GM Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles earned sparkling grades from experts on Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft, landing Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell at pick No. 31 overall via a trade-up with the Kansas City Chiefs.

This draft is only getting started for the reigning Super Bowl champions, as Roseman has enjoyed an amazing hit rate in Round 2 of the draft since taking over as Philly’s general manager in 2010.

Five of Roseman’s second-round selections started for the team in Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs this past season. Another five have at least one career Pro Bowl nod:

The 2025 NFL Draft resumes Friday night (8 EST) with Rounds 2 and 3. Philadelphia currently holds two selections, No. 64 overall in the second round and No. 96 overall in the third. On Thursday, the Eagles sent one of their four fifth-round picks, No. 164 overall, to move up one spot for Campbell. Philly could look to use that same strategy on Day 2, as it's unlikely the team wants to end up with three fifth-round dart throws.

Here’s who NFL Draft analysts project to the Eagles in Round 2, where Roseman rarely misses:

Projected Eagles Day 2 NFL Draft targets

Crabbs: “Thomas projects as a developmental starter as an outside cornerback in the NFL. He would be best served playing in a man-heavy scheme and afforded opportunities to play physically in the contact window His upside as a physical press corner is where he can be the most impactful as an NFL player, although he does have enough fluidity to play as a match player in space, too.”

Edhom: “If there's a team that can -- and would -- take a risk on a top-50 talent with injury questions such as Morrison, it's the Eagles.”

Trapasso: “Porter is too naturally gifted for the Eagles to pass on him here.”

Miller: “The run of tight end Dallas Goedert might be nearing an end in Philadelphia. No team better prepares for the future by addressing needs than general manager Howie Roseman's crew, and Arroyo is the type of speedy seam buster the Eagles could use.”

Flick: “Likely an earlier pick if not for a torn ACL suffered in his second game, Winston is physical enough to play in the box while having the range and experience to line up at single-high.”

Liskiewitz: “Strong forced seven incompletions last season and allowed just 46.6% of passes into his coverage to be completed.”
