When it comes to Kevin Patullo keeping his offensive coordinator job, the Philadelphia Eagles’ play caller hasn’t received the full support of his quarterback, Jalen Hurts.
On Monday, the veteran quarterback was asked if he would like Patullo to be back in the building for a second-straight season. Hurts chose to go around the question.
“It’s too soon to think about that,” said the quarterback.
“I put my trust in Howie [Roseman], Nick [Sirianni] and [Jeffery] Laurie.”
All year long, the Eagles have struggled offensively. Patullo, a first-time offensive coordinator, landed plenty of support from Sirianni and several key players throughout the year.

Following a disappointing 19-point showing at home against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Patullo’s job security is in question. The fan base has been pounding the table for a chance. One prominent NFL insider suggested that the league-wide expectation is that Patullo’s job is in jeopardy.
With a public endorsement from Hurts, Patullo might’ve gained a little-needed support as the Eagles have a tough decision to make regarding the play caller moving forward to 2026. Hurts did not give him that.
Soon, the Eagles will have to make a decision, as they look ahead to the 2026 NFL season.
