Considering the fact that he’s only in his sixth season in the NFL, Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts has accomplished a lot in his career already. The guy is a Super Bowl champion and the reigning Super Bowl MVP. He’s also a two-time Pro Bowler and a Bert Bell Award winner.

There’s still much more for Hurts to do though, and he’ll have a chance to accomplish a career first in Week 15: Defeat the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jalen Hurts has never beaten the Raiders in his career

Hurts has bested 27 out of the 32 teams in the NFL as a starting quarterback, but the Raiders are one of the few teams he has yet to take down. Hurts has a 0-1 career record against the Raiders, as he’s only played against them once prior to Sunday’s matchup.

Hurts’ sole start against Las Vegas occurred back in October of 2021 – his first season as the Eagles’ full-time starter. Hurts threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns in that game, and he also added 61 rushing yards. Unfortunately for Philly, his production wasn’t enough as the Raiders pulled out a 33-22 victory in the contest.

He’s had to wait a long four years, but Hurts will finally get another crack at Las Vegas on Sunday.

The other teams that Hurts has yet to defeat in the league are the Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets and of course the Eagles. Hurts had a chance to cross the Chargers off his list in Week 14, but he turned in arguably the worst performance of his career with five total turnovers, and the Eagles lost to the L.A., 22-19.

Hurts will be looking for a bounce back performance against the Raiders, and if he’s able to lead the Eagles to victory, there will be one less squad of his short list of teams he hasn’t beaten.
