Full Eagles schedule: NFL does Super Bowl champs no favors, including zero back-to-back home games image

The Philadelphia Eagles’ full 2025 regular season schedule was leaked on Wednesday afternoon, and the NFL did the reigning Super Bowl champions zero favors.

As in — zero back-to-back home games at Lincoln Financial Field.

While the Eagles will be featured prominently, with six prime-time games — seven, if you count their Saturday afternoon clash with the Commanders in Week 16 — this schedule includes few reprieves.

Two of Philly’s opening six games will be played on a Thursday night. After their Week 9 bye week, the Eagles immediately play prime-time games against tough NFC North foes Green Bay (Monday Night Football) and Detroit (Sunday Night Football). A few weeks later, Philly will host Chicago on Black Friday, followed by another MNF game at the L.A. Chargers.

While still to be officially announced by the NFL, which will broadcast its Schedule Day special on Wednesday night, here’s Philadelphia’s full 18-week schedule based on multiple reports:

Philadelphia Eagles 2025 schedule takeaways

NFL games in September typically fail in comparison to those played after Nov. 1, but the first five weeks of Philly’s schedule could have a playoff feel.

No team faces a tougher early-season gauntlet than the Eagles, who will face four 2024 playoff qualifiers over the first five weeks of the season. A Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs in Week 2? Another battle with the L.A. Rams in Week 3? A familiar trip to Philly’s personal House of Horrors — Raymond James Stadium — to play the Buccaneers? That’s about as tough as it gets, and we should include Bo Nix and the ascending Broncos coming to Philly in Week 5 as well.

If there’s a break in the schedule, it’s from Weeks 7 through 9. The Eagles will play the lowly Giants twice in a three-game stretch, followed by a bye week. Things heat up once again over the second half — especially from Weeks 16 through 18 with two games against the Commanders, and a trip to Buffalo in what could be a bad weather game against Josh Allen and the Bills.
