ESPN analyst proposes absurd Philadelphia Eagles trade for Indianapolis Colts bust image

ESPN has been known for its share of wild personalities, but one of their NFL analysts recently proposed an interesting trade that would land the Philadelphia Eagles a player that has been a bust so far in his career.

When it comes to the Eagles roster, they're essentially set at every position group thanks to general manager Howie Roseman, but ESPN's Dan Orlovsky thinks they can get back at quarterback with the addition of another signal caller.

The Birds have the luxury of knowing Jalen Hurts is their guy under center for the forseeable future, however, Orlovsky pitched the idea of Philly trading for former first round pick Anthony Richardson to back up the Super Bowl champion.

On the surface it's a crazy proposition, but even more so when considering the fact that Richardson couldn't even beat out Daniel Jones for the Indianapolis Colts' starting role heading into this season.

Additionally, Tanner McKee has emerged as one of the elite backup quarterback options, so the idea that Richardson would fit into the team feels very off at this stage.
