The Philadelphia Eagles' tush push play is the topic of conversation this offseason as the NFL's owners decide if they want to vote on its banishment.
There's one very powerful fella who doesn't want to see it go.
When the Eagles visited the White House on Monday to celebrate their Super Bowl, President Donald Trump gave his take on the play.
"I hope they keep that play, Coach," Trump said, looking in the direction of head coach Nick Sirianni. "They're talking about getting rid of that play, I understand. They should keep it... I like it. It's sort of exciting and different."
In the past three years, the Eagles have scored 27 touchdowns and recorded 92 first downs on the tush push, according to ESPN.
"Thank you, Mr. President, for having us here. And we also appreciate the endorsement for the tush push," Sirianni said when he took the microphone.

The tush push is a play everyone seems to have an opinion on.
The popular refrain among those who want to get rid of it is "safety concerns," although there's not much documented as far as health issues from the play.
The Eagles obviously want to keep it. Interestingly, the Buffalo Bills want to get rid of it despite Josh Allen being great at the QB sneak (although he doesn't necessarily need the push to get it done).
Call it the Brotherly Shove, if you want, but regardless of nomenclature, these last few years have been this play's moment in the sun.
If it continues, the President will be happy.
