The Philadelphia Eagles picked up some youthful running back depth on Wednesday.
They signed RB Audric Estime to their practice squad, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Estime had been cut by the Denver Broncos on Tuesday in a bit of a surprise move after he was a fifth-round pick in 2024 who got some regular season action as a rookie.
The Broncos had chosen Estime No. 147 overall in 2024.

As a rookie, Estime played in 13 games. He had 76 carries for 310 yards (4.1 yards per carry). He found the end zone twice, and he also had five catches for 27 yards.
The Browns had previously been linked as a team that could look to sign Estime if he was cut, but they instead claimed Raheim Sanders off waivers on Wednesday.
That left Estime for the taking by the Eagles.

Philadelphia has an established running back depth chart topped by superstar Saquon Barkley. Behind him are A.J. Dillon and Will Shipley.
That leaves Estime firmly on the practice squad, unlikely to move up for now unless someone gets injured.
But it's never a bad idea to join and learn from the defending Super Bowl champs. So early in his career, Estime can gain knowledge from Barkley that could help his future flourish.
