The Philadelphia Eagles' season ended Sunday evening. There will be no Super Bowl defense.
They now head to an offseason that will feature lots of questions, including big ones about star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who had a rocky campaign with struggles and drama and inconsistency.
Brown did not have a great last game of the season. He was targeted nine times but caught just three.
Twice on the same drive, Jalen Hurts delivered a pretty catchable ball to Brown down the field. Both times, he failed to haul it in.

Cameras caught Eagles coach Nick Sirianni screaming at Brown at the second one to "get off the field," but that was more about getting the next play lined up than anything else -- although a subsequent shouting match did seem to ensue.
Eagles fans on social media later in the night had another reason to get mad at Brown, but it turns out it wasn't real.
A satirical parody account, NFL Drop, posted that Brown blamed barely getting the ball for the Eagles' loss.
A.J. Brown speaks on why the Eagles lost to the 49ers:

That's not a real quote from Brown.
In reality, he hustled out of the locker room without talking to any media.
Certainly a quiet end to the season for him.
