The NFL will officially release its full 18-week, 272-game 2025 schedule during a special broadcast on the evening of May 14, but similar to free agency, we’ll learn the dates, times and venues for many of the league’s marquee games well before Schedule Day.
This will be our last heavy dose of football fodder until training camp arrives in August, so let’s have some fun and track the latest rumors and schedule leaks for the Philadelphia Eagles — who will host the NFL’s season kick-off game — and raise their 2024 Super Bowl championship banner — at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 8:20 p.m. (EST).
MORE: Eagles to kick-off 2025 NFL season vs. NFC East rival Cowboys, per schedule leak
As a general starting point, we already know Philly’s list of home and away opponents for the 2025 season. That part of the schedule is determined by a formula based on the previous year’s final regular season standings, an annual rotation of opponents from one intra- and non-conference division, and other tangible inputs.
For the Eagles in 2025, for example, we know the schedule with feature all four teams from the NFC North and AFC West, as well as the three NFC teams that won their division (like the Eagles did in the NFC East) in 2024:
Philadelphia Eagles 2025 opponents list
Home
- Cowboys
- Giants
- Commanders
- Bears
- Lions
- Broncos
- Raiders
- Rams
Away
- Cowboys
- Giants
- Commanders
- Packers
- Vikings
- Buccaneers
- Bills
- Chiefs
- Chargers
The Eagles are currently scheduled for eight home games compared to nine games on the road. Matchups with the Lions and Rams figure to be a hot ticket at the Linc, outside of the NFC East rivalry games.
Now, let’s get to the fun part. Here are the latest leaks and reports regarding the Eagles’ path to repeating as Super Bowl champions this season. This list will be updated daily as new information hits:
