Through eight games this season, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is one of the team's most productive pass-catchers.
Despite missing one of those eight games, Goedert entered Week 10 with the third-most receiving yards on the team with 289, which falls behind wide receiver A.J. Brown (395) and DeVonta Smith (588).
But if we didn't know any better, we would think Goedert isn't that involved in the offense after the slow start he's gotten off to in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.
Let's take a look at what's going on.
Is Dallas Goedert playing tonight?
UPDATE: Goedert in on the stat sheet with his first catch in the second quarter.
UPDATE: The Eagles' second drive didn't see as much action as the first, but it was status quo for Goedert, who remains without so much as a target.
Goedert is indeed active and healthy, he just hasn't gotten involved in the offense yet. The Eagles had a nice long drive on their opening series but didn't come away with points after a Jalen Hurts fumble.
Hurts connected with A.J. Brown, Will Shipley and DeVonta Smith on the first series, but nothing for Goedert.
The Eagles' offense is simply better when Goedert is getting looks in the passing attack, so we'd expect him to get going soon.
