The Philadelphia Eagles have had some legendary players over the years, but no one has played more games in an Eagles uniform than two-time champion Brandon Graham.
Graham retired following the 2024 season as Philadelphia’s all-time in games played with 206. Now that he’s back with the team and poised to make his season debut against the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football, Graham will have an opportunity to add to the record that he already owns.
Behind Graham, the list looks like this:
Jason Kelce: 193 games
Fletcher Cox: 188 games
Dakid Akers: 188 games
Brian Dawkins: 183 games
The Eagles have nine regular season games remaining. If Graham can play in them all, he’ll boost his all-time total to 215 games.
It’s doubtful that Graham is even thinking about that though. He’s just happy to be back in the fold with his teammates.
"I'm excited, man. No expectations, just going out there, just like it's been in practice," Graham said. "It's been [me] enjoying the time. And I'm just excited to see these boys, because they put some work in this weekend. Just bringing the energy, man."
It remains to be seen how much gas Graham has left in the tank at this point in his career, but he’s had some promising practices recently and has even surprised himself a couple of times.
"I was honestly shocked myself, just on like, 'Wow, OK. I can do this for real,'" he said. "Because this is my first time coming off the couch for real and coming right into it. It's great. [I] feel fresh. [I] feel like I've been training, getting ready for Training Camp, and now I'm going through my little Training Camp phase of the three weeks I've been going in practice and stuff, even during the Bye Week. Now I'm just excited to go out there and just play one game at a time."
Considering the fact that we thought we’d seen the last of Graham out on the field, it’s safe to say that Eagles fans will be appreciative of any type of production that they can get from No. 55 this season.
