A.J. Brown didn't practice for the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Eve.
No, not because he needed to go prepare for Santa Claus.
Instead, it's because Brown had to get his wisdom teeth out.
And, well, some are questioning the timing:
Would have been more wise for AJ Brown to get his wisdom teeth removed after the season instead of week 17 but hey.. Https://t.co/xZxo3Yru47

It does seem quite late in the game for Brown to be getting the wisdom teeth out. Most have already had that happen.
If they've all of a sudden progressed rapidly, though, it could be pretty painful with them still in.
If the Eagles keep winning, too, they could play for another month or more, so it's not necessarily as simple as waiting for another week, like someone on a non-playoff team could do.
There are definitely some Philly fans amused by the idea of Brown and wisdom after he's spent most of the season complaining in various ways about his role (although he may also know exactly what he's doing).
This shouldn't impact Brown's availability for Week 17. It's just a bit of irony that has some fans quite entertained.
