Who won King of the End Zone? DraftKings promo winner changes late in 49ers-Colts image

The DraftKings promotion, King of the End Zone, was back for Monday Night Football in Week 16 between the San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts.

And for most of the game, there looked to be one winner.

That changed in the final minutes.

Who won King of the End Zone?

The winner of King of the End Zone was the 49ers' defense and special teams (D/ST).

They scored the last touchdown of the day, which was also the longest, a 75-yard pick-6 by Dee Winters.

It was a late twist in the tale.

For most of the game, the longest TD had been Demarcus Robinson's 22-yard receiving touchdown in the first quarter.

That didn't hold up, though, once Philip Rivers set Winters up to go the distance on a long return.

As a linebacker, Winters wasn't eligible for an anytime touchdown bet.

That means that only those who wagered their King of the End Zone bet on the 49ers D/ST get the bonus bet payout, which will arrive sometime Tuesday morning in accounts.
