NFL viewers settled in for yet another Sunday of watching all the biggest plays around the league on the Redzone Channel.
And then the audio broke.

There's probably someone out there who knows what actually happened here.
But for most of us, it was just a jarring, disconcerting sound. The technical difficulties lasted for about 10 minutes.
It's not an issue that would've showed up on any individual game broadcasts.
The NFL's media team helps to run Redzone, as opposed to CBS and Fox running each of the single-game telecasts that go out throughout the country.

This certainly isn't something that has happened before.
Redzone has made a big change this season, involving advertisements for the first time.
But they probably didn't want this to happen. It's not exactly the ideal start to six hours of bounce-around football.
