J.J. Watt is expected to be a first-ballot induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028, a few years removed from his retirement after years of dominance for the Houston Texans. Now an analyst for CBS, Watt was on the call for his younger brother's matchup in Steelers vs. Bears in Week 12.

T.J. Watt, the 31-year-old who remains a defensive star in Pittsburgh, provided a special moment with J.J. On the call, surpassing his brother's career sack total.

T.J. Watt passes J.J. Watt in career sacks

Coming into Week 12, T.J. Watt sat at 114 career sacks, including six this season for the Steelers. Still one of the NFL's best pass rushers, the former Defensive Player of the Year remains on track to earn a seventh Pro Bowl selection in 2025.

He saved his 115th career sack, which would surpass J.J. Watt's 114.5 sack total, for the perfect moment. With J.J. Watt on the call for CBS in Steelers vs. Bears, T.J. Took down Caleb Williams while forcing a fumble that resulted in a touchdown in the second quarter.

Watt was credited with the sack and forced fumble, while Nick Herbig scored the touchdown. Afterward, J.J. Gave his brother credit for passing his career sack total.

"If he's going to pass my record, that's one hell of a way to do it," Watt said on CBS. "Good for you, T.J."

T.J. Has played nine seasons in the NFL, while J.J. Watt played 12 seasons between the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals. Still, it's the younger Watt who has the advantage in most categories.
