The NFL regular season is officially here, and that means plenty of start-or-sit decisions for fantasy football owners.
And there's nothing like the first game of the year to get the stresses flowing right off the bat. The Dallas Cowboys take on the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Some decisions for this game are obvious. Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are starts, just like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith.
But what about some of the others?

Here, we take a look at exciting rookie Jaydon Blue:
Should I start or sit Jaydon Blue in Week 1 for Cowboys vs. Eagles?
In a standard 10- or 12-team league, Jaydon Blue is probably a sit for Week 1.
That's not an indictment of his talent. He's viewed as a legitimate sleeper for this season based on his speed, explosiveness and potential opportunity.
It's just not clear he'll get enough chance in the opener, especially against a solid Eagles run defense, to make a difference. He's listed as RB3 on the Cowboys' unofficial depth chart, which doesn't necessarily matter, but it does mean veterans Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders will likely both see action, too, watering down the entire backfield operation.

The Sporting News' weekly start-sit column by Vinnie Iyer has Blue listed outside the top-37 RBs, making him a sit in all but the deepest of formats.
Blue does gain a bit more utility in PPR formats, as the Cowboys will probably try to get him the ball in space.
The best thing you can do with Blue in the week ahead is keep an eye to see if his owner drops him. If Blue goes for three carries and seven yards or something in the opener, someone who picked him as a sleeper might abandon ship. That's a good chance to pounce and add him to your bench to help later on in the season.
