If the Baltimore Ravens need someone to build a rocket for a demonstration, they've got a guy.
He just so happens to be a 5-foot-9 undrafted cornerback from a small school who made the 53-man roster to open the season anyway.
His name: Reuben Lowery III.
Lowery went to Chattanooga, where he was a mechanical engineering major.
He also was part of the nationally recognized UTC Rocket Mocs rocketry team.

Lowery is also a baller.
"Lowery impressed coaches throughout training camp with his football IQ and competitive drive," writes The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue. "He also consistently made plays on the ball at just 5-foot-9 and 204 pounds."
Even to get to Chattanooga, Lowery had to attend a camp at the school to get himself in front of the Mocs' coaches and impress them enough to earn a spot.
In 46 collegiate games, he had 166 tackles (19 TFL), 15 pass breakups and three interceptions, including two pick-sixes. He was first-team All-SoCon in his final college season.

Lowery will get a chance to learn from a strong defensive backs room in Baltimore that includes Jaire Alexander, Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins and Kyle Hamilton, along with first-round safety Malaki Starks.
Lowery is certainly the most improbable one to be there. Wiggins, Hamilton, Starks and Humphrey were all once first-round picks.
But Lowery is clearly intelligent. He'll likely pick up on things quickly, and it'll give him a chance to rocket up the depth chart in no time.
