Shedeur Sanders had a career moment on Sunday afternoon, making his first regular season NFL appearance for the Cleveland Browns against the Baltimore Ravens. Sanders took the place of fellow rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who left with a concussion.

However, Sanders was reportedly the victim of a home break-in, which occurred while he was playing against the Ravens.

Here's what to know about Sanders' reported house break-in.

Shedeur Sanders house break-in details

It was confirmed that Sanders' house was broken into during the Browns-Ravens game on Sunday afternoon. According to a press release, "three suspects wearing masks and gloves entered Shedeur's home around 6:46 p.m."

The break-in was first reported by Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio and later confirmed by other sources.

This incident follows a pattern of professional athletes, including other NFL players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Joe Burrow, being targeted by criminals who take advantage of the athletes' game times.

Sanders gave his first public comments regarding the incident on Wednesday. He told reporters that he's not too fazed by the break-in.

"I know this is a trending topic that my house got broken into, but I'm in a mental space now to where it's not too much that can faze me, honestly, that's going on," Sanders said, per TMZ. "By the way, none of my jewelry got took."
