The Rams will host the Buccaneers in a battle of top NFC teams for Week 12's "Sunday Night Football" game.
The Rams are 8-2 and tied for the second-best record in the NFL, and tied for the best record in the NFC. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is having an MVP-caliber season and heads into the matchup with 2,557 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and only two interceptions.
The Buccaneers started the season 5-1, and looked to be running away with the NFC South. They then lost three of their last four games and are now 6-4, and are only a half-game up on the Panthers in the division.
Heading into the game, the Rams are the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoff picture, while the Buccaneers are the No. 4 seed. A win or a loss for either team could impact their ability to make the playoffs despite six more weeks in the season.
