'One f'ing stop': Bengals star vents frustration over loss to Bears image

The Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears had a week 9 shootout, with the Monsters of the Midway City Monsters racking up a 47-42 win. That was enough for one of Cincy's brightest stars to air some frustration on the game and, particularly, the series that broke the Bengals' backs.

Heading to the locker room, four-time Pro Bowl receiver Ja'Marr Chase was heard on camera saying, "One f-ing stop' and shaking his head in almost disbelief over the defeat.

While it can't be totally defined what Chase was referring to yet, he was most likely complaining about the huge breakdown on defense that the Bengals displayed during the game's deciding play.

With 25 seconds ot play and the Bears trailing by one, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams connected with rookie tight end Colston Loveland. The receiver snatched the pass at the 35-yard line, battled some defenders, and broke free to take it to the house.

The loss drops the Bengals to 3-6 on the season, while the Bears improved to 5-3.

Chase certainly did his part in the contest, making six catches for 111 yards, as the Bengals' offense was on fire. Ageless QB Joe Flacco notched 470 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions. Receiver Tee Higgins had seven catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns to add to Cincinnati's offensive onslaught. Unfortunately for the Bengals, it wasn't enough

The Bengals will have a  bye next week, and they will return in week 11 to face the Steelers on the road in Pittsburgh.
