Who needs an offense when your special teams unit can put up points?

In a unique twist for Week 10, multiple NFL teams leaned on special teams in their respective matchups. Some of the top highlights from Sunday's games weren't spectacular catches, throws or runs — they were kick returns or other notable special teams plays. The New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars both scored on returns.

Special teams took center stage a bit in the early portion of Week 10, notably for the 1-7 Jets as they took on the Cleveland Browns.

Here's a look at some of the key special teams plays and returned touchdowns over Week 10 games.

NFL return touchdowns today

Kene Nwangwu kick return TD for Jets

Just as the Week 10 slate of 1 p.m. ET games was getting started, the Jets began the special teams highlights. While the team's offense has struggled at times in 2025, New York bounced right back against the Browns after allowing a touchdown.

On the kickoff following David Njoku's score for Cleveland, Kene Nwangwu had a house call, running up the middle and quickly finding himself with one man to beat.

According to Jets PR, Nwangwu's five kickoffs returned for a touchdown in his career are now the most in the NFL since he entered the league in 2021.

Jets go back-to-back with Isaiah Williams punt return TD

Minutes passed before the Browns were ready to punt on their following drive. But the Jets weren't done — on the second-straight kick, they scored. Isaiah Williams made it look easy, speeding through the Browns' unit for a 74-yard punt return.

At that point, the Jets had two yards of total offense, yet two touchdowns, per CBS Sports.

Browns 'fire drill' field goal

Just before halftime, the Browns got a nice special teams play themselves against the Jets, as their field-goal unit sprinted onto the field without any timeouts to convert a 45-yard field goal.

Cleveland tied the game at 17 with its quick moving on special teams:

Parker Washington's punt return TD for Jaguars

In Houston, the Jaguars kept the special teams fun going when Parker Washington extended his team's lead with a 72-yard punt return touchdown.

It was his second touchdown of the day, as he had a receiving score from Trevor Lawrence against the Texans as well.
