NFL mock drafts 2025: Compare Mel Kiper Jr., Peter Schrager, Daniel Jeremiah and other expert picks

The 2025 NFL Draft is just days away, and with that, there is a ton of buzz surrounding which teams will pick guys when. This year's class includes huge names such as quarterback Cam Ward, two-way star Travis Hunter, EDGE rusher Abdul Carter and running back Ashton Jeanty. 

The first five teams with the initial picks include the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars. 

To get some clarity on how the first round might shake out, let's turn to some experts. Here, we'll run through the latest mock draft from experts like Mel Kiper Jr. Dane Brugler, TSN's Vinnie Iyer and more.

Vinnie Iyer's mock draft (The Sporting News)

Iyer's latest mock was released on April 24:

Peter Schrager's mock draft (ESPN)

Schrager's latest mock was released on April 23:

Notable:

– Schrager proposes a pick swap between the Colts and Bears. In the proposed trade, Indianapolis moves up to 10 to take TE Colston Loveland, while Chicago slides back to take OT Kelvin Banks Jr. at 14.

– In this mock, Shedeur Sanders slides to the Steelers at 21, continuing the wide range of landing spots.

– Another proposed trade sees the Giants package a few picks (Nos. 34 and 99) to send to the Rams to move back into the first round and select Jaxson Dart at 26, a unique approach to adding another signal-caller.

Todd McShay (The Ringer)

Todd McShay released a mock draft on April 23:

Notable: 

-McShay not only has Shedeur Sanders sliding out of the top 10, but he has him going undrafted in the entire first round. 

-Speaking of QBs, Cam Ward goes No. 1 as expected, but the Giants trade up with the Lions to No. 28 and take a QB — Jaxson Dart out of Ole Miss, making him the second QB taken off the board. 

Bucky Brooks' mock draft (NFL.com)

Brooks' latest mock was released on April 22:

Notable:

– The Shedeur Sanders-to-Pittsburgh smoke is perpetuated in this one as he falls to 21 to be the Steelers' next QB.

– Dallas goes with an RB early as Brooks slates North Carolina's Omarion Hampton as the Cowboys' choice.

Chris Simms' mock draft (NBC Sports)

Simms' latest mock was released on April 21:

Notable:

– Cam Ward is the only QB taken in the first round of Simms' mock, citing the lack of a consensus QB2. As a result, Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart and Tyler Shough are all absent from this first-round mock.

– East Carolina's Shavon Revel appears late in the first round of this mock, going 30th to Buffalo. This is the only recent mock that grades Revel as a first-round pick.

-Brugler has Shedeur Sanders falling out of the top 10, but still landing with a team that needs a quarterback in the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

-He also has four wideouts going in the first round. 

Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates (ESPN) 

Kiper released a joint mock draft with Field Yates on April 15

Notable:

-This is one of the highest places that Marshall EDGE rusher Mike Green has been mocked, at 15 overall to the Falcons. 

-Yates and Kiper also have the Browns not picking a quarterback in the top-10, but instead trading with the Commanders to land Jaxson Dart at 29th.  

Daniel Jeremiah (NFL Network)

Daniel Jeremiah released a mock draft on April 23

Notable: 

-Jeremiah has the Giants trading back up to 18th to get their quarterback after selecting Carter with the third overall pick. 

Field Yates (ESPN)

Field Yates released his latest mock draft on April 24:

Notable: 

- Yates predicts that the Browns will trade their second and fourth round picks (No. 33 and No. 104, respectively) in exchange for the Commanders' No. 29 pick. They'd use that selection to take Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders.
