The NFL Draft is the event on the football calendar circled in red for most franchises.

It can be a major turning point, not only for the prospects who are fulfilling their NFL dreams, but also for the fanbases that have been starving for a championship. Teams can make selections that will set them up for sustained success, or set them back for years to come.

The Titans began the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday by taking Miami quarterback Cam Ward at No. 1 overall, securing their signal caller of the future. The Jaguars wasted no time making a bold move, too, trading up to No. 2 to select Colorado two-way phenom Travis Hunter. Offensive stars continued to fly off the board after that, with Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty going to the Raiders at No. 6 and Penn State tight end Tyler Warren being picked by the Colts at No. 14.

Friday also saw teams make a number of noteworthy selections. Both running backs from Ohio State's national championship team heard their names called in the second round, with Quinshon Judkins going to Cleveland at No. 36, and TreVeyon Henderson coming off the board to the Patriots at No. 38. The Raiders selected TCU wide receiver Jack Bech, whose older brother, Tiger, was tragically killed in the New Orleans terrorist attack on New Year's Day, at No. 58, and the Falcons solidified the back of their defense by choosing Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts in the third round.

However, the biggest story of the draft was the fall of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. In one of the most stunning slides in NFL Draft history, five quarterbacks were taken in front of the Colorado signal caller, who was projected by many to be a top-five pick at the start of the draft process. Sanders did not hear his name called until the fifth round when the Browns selected him at No. 144 overall, two rounds after they took Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Can one of those quarterbacks now become the franchise savior in Cleveland?

The Sporting News tracked all 257 picks of the 2025 NFL Draft. See how your team did this weekend.

6:30 p.m.: Jordan Raanan of ESPN is saying that any Giants trade at the end of the first round will be while the clock is ticking. Jaxson Dart is the name that's picking up steam less than two hours before the draft begins.

6:15 p.m.: Ian Rapoport reports that the Dolphins, Panthers, Buccaneers and Seahawks are also open to trading back.

6:05 p.m.: Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer is hearing that there are a number of teams picking late in the first round exploring a trade down into the second round. Teams like the Browns and Ginats, who have picks No. 33 and No. 34, respectively, could be aggressive for a quarterback later tonight.

5:50 p.m.: Jeff Howe is reporting that the Jaguars are actively trying to move up from No. 5, and could be trying to acquire the Browns' pick at No. 2.

5:30 p.m.: The Texans and Browns have already made a trade, swapping some late-round picks. Ian Rapoport also says the Jaguars could make some "bold" moves tonight.

5:25 p.m.: Dianna Russini reports that the Broncos and Texans are trying to move up, while the Giants are trying to acquire a late first-round pick.

5:20 p.m.: Adam Schefter thinks that the most likely landing spot for Shedeur Sanders is Pittsburgh at No. 21. If not, there may only be one quarterback selected tonight.

5:10 p.m.: Russini is also reporting the Bears are trying to trade up from No. 10 in an effort to draft Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.

4:55 p.m.: Dianna Russini is reporting that Browns general manager Andrew Berry is actively listening to offers for the No. 2 pick just hours before the draft begins.

4:30 p.m.: The Athletic's Jeff Howe is saying that Jaxson Dart could be the second quarterback off the board, with the Rams now a team of interest.

3:55 p.m.: Connor Hughes of SNY says that the Jets can go a number of different directions with the seventh overall pick. Offensive line seems to be the primary focus for New York, but they could pivot depending on what happens in front of them.

3:40 p.m.: Adam Schefter said on NFL Live that he is hearing the Giants are not going to "force the issue" at quarterback in this draft. He does not think New York will take Shedeur Sanders at No. 3.

3:20 p.m.: Ian Rapoport still believes Shedeur Sanders is "in play" for the Giants at No. 3 overall. However, if Sanders doesn't go there, where the quarterback lands gets murkier, as it isn't a certainty that the Steelers take him at No. 21.

3:10 p.m.: Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reports the Steelers have done a lot of work on wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, which could lead to the team trading George Pickens. Breer also confirmed that Giants head coach Brian Daboll has spent time getting to know Jaxson Dart.

3:00 p.m.: The Patriots visited with Will Campbell in Louisiana in recent days, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, furthering speculation that Campbell will be the pick at No. 4

2:50 p.m.: Pelissero also would not be surprised if Jalen Milroe sneaks into the first round.

2:33 P.M.: Tom Pelissero believes this is the most "unpredictable draft" in recent memory due to the lack of consensus among teams.

2:10 p.m.: While some teams seem to be trying to move up to No. 2, the Patriots at No. 4 are not one of them as New England will likely stay put, per Jeff Howe.

1:42 p.m.: Ian Rapoport believes the Jaguars are a team to watch tonight, as they could make a "bold move" like trading up to No. 2.

1:31 p.m.: Ashton Jeanty is now the favorite to go No. 5 overall, but the Bears still have the best odds to draft the running back, potentially hinting at a trade in between Chicago and the Jaguars.

1:03 p.m.: Jonathan Jones names the Vikings as another team that could possibly trade down, as they enter the draft with just four picks total.

12:40 p.m.: The Commanders enter the first round with pick No. 29, but according to Dianna Russini, they are looking to trade out of the pick. If they stay, Russini believes they will target defense.

12:30 p.m.: The Saints are not expected to have clarity on quarterback Derek Carr's injury before the first round begins on Thursday night, according to Ian Rapoport.

12:15 p.m.: Jordan Schultz reports the Saints could actually trade back from No. 9, then try to trade up from their second round pick to take a quarterback late in the first round.

11:58 a.m.: Per The Athletic's Dianna Russini, teams are trying to move into the top four, presumably to take Travis Hunter.

11:46 a.m.: According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, Giants head coach Brian Daboll prefers Jaxson Dart over Shedeur Sanders and the other quarterbacks in the draft that aren't Cam Ward.

11:36 a.m.: NFL Network's Tom Pelissero names the Panthers as a team that could be looking to trade down from the No. 8 overall pick.

11:25 a.m.: On Wednesday night, CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones reported that "there's a very good chance" Shedeur Sanders falls out of the first round.

11:16 a.m.: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Broncos are fielding calls from several teams about trading back from pick No. 20.

11:00 a.m.: CBS Sports' Aditi Kinkhabwala reports Jaxson Dart will not fall farther than the Saints at No. 9.

10:43 a.m.: Finally, Jeremiah believes the Jaguars will take either Ashton Jeanty or Tetairoa McMillan at No. 5 overall, but he gave Jacksonville Jeanty.

10:37 a.m.: Jeremiah also thinks the Browns and Giants could try and trade back into the first round and ahead of the Steelers for a quarterback, and he has New York making the move for Jaxson Dart.

10:24 a.m.: In his final mock draft, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah has Shedeur Sanders going to the Steelers, but claims that doesn't happened he doesn't know where Sanders lands.
