When is the NFL Draft in 2024? Date, time, pick order, location, TV channels & updated mock drafts image

The NFL 2024 season may have officially started back on March 13, but the first premier event of the year for fans is the NFL draft.

Detroit is the site for this year's selection show, with the three-day event set to impact the lives of over 200 prospects. It also signals a potential change for numerous organizations who get the chance to add high-end talent to their rosters.

The Bears are on the clock with the first pick, and they're expected to take a USC QB Caleb Williams. The 2022 Heisman winner has long been regarded as the top talent in the 2024 draft class, and Chicago is in line to bring in the talented quarterback as its starter.

After that? It's all up in the air. Other QBs like LSU's Jayden Daniels and North Carolina's Drake Maye are expected to be two of the first names taken after Williams, in addition to Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and Georgie TE Brock Bowers.

Here's everything to know about this year's draft, including date, time, TV channels, first-round order and TSN's latest mock draft.

NFL Draft first round order 2024

The Bears own the No. 1 pick in the draft thanks to last year's trade with the Panthers for the 2023 No. 1 pick. It gives Chicago the No. 1 and No. 9 picks in the draft.

The Vikings traded up into the first round earlier in the offseason, acquiring the No. 23 pick from the Texans, which previously belonged to the Browns. It gives Minnesota two first-round picks — No. 11 and No. 23.

In addition, the Cardinals have two first-round picks after acquiring the Texans' own first-round pick last year when Houston moved up to No. 3 in the 2023 draft. Arizona owns the No. 4 and No. 27 picks as a result.
