Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season is a major inflection point.

Teams will be idle for the first time in the young season, as the Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Pittsburgh Steelers will enjoy early byes. With that in mind, there will only be 14 NFL games — one on Thursday, 12 on Sunday and one on Monday night.

Specific to Sunday, there will be plenty to keep an eye on during an afternoon slate headlined by a few storylines. In the early afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles will look to stay perfect when they host the Denver Broncos at Lincoln Financial Field. Elsewhere, many eyes will be on Charm City, where the hobbled Baltimore Ravens host the Houston Texans in a meeting between 1-3 teams looking to get their seasons back on track.

Later in the afternoon, a pair of 3-1 teams will take the field in the Pacific Northwest, where the Seattle Seahawks will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an aesthetically pleasing game, given the throwback uniforms each team will employ.
