On Christmas Day one year ago, the Kansas City Chiefs won their 15th game of the season and locked up a first-round bye. Oh, how times have changed.

The Chiefs are one of six teams playing on Christmas this season, as they cap the holiday by hosting the Denver Broncos, but the shoe is on the other foot this time. It's the Broncos who are competing for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, while the Chiefs are already eliminated from playoff contention and will see their season end before the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era.

Mahomes won't be involved in Kansas City's Christmas game, as he suffered a torn ACL against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15. The injury came as the Chiefs were already staring down elimination, but it added another level of devastation to a shell-shocked organization.

Before the Chiefs and Broncos kick off on Christmas night, a pair of games between NFC teams will get the day started as the NFL's footprint on the holiday continues to expand.

Here's what you need to know to watch NFL games on Christmas Day, including live streaming information.

The NFL's Christmas Day tripleheader begins with a couple of matchup sometimes seen on Thanksgiving, albeit in different buildings.

The Washington Commanders play host to the Dallas Cowboys as both teams try to pick up the pieces and build some momentum to close out the season, while the Minnesota Vikings will aim to do the same against the Detroit Lions as J.J. McCarthy tries to prove he should enter 2026 as the team's starting quarterback.

In the nightcap, the Chiefs host the Broncos in a game that once looked like it might decide the AFC West but now only impacts the Broncos as they try to earn a first-round bye in the AFC.

What channel is Christmas Day football on?

The first games of the Christmas Day tripleheader will be broadcast on Netflix, with the third and final contest airing on Amazon Prime Video.

Ian Eagle (play-by-play), Nate Burleson and Matt Ryan will be on the call from Northwest Stadium for Cowboys vs. Commanders, while Noah Eagle (play-by-play) will make it a family affair as he calls Lions vs. Vikings alongside Drew Brees.

Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will call Broncos vs. Chiefs in prime-time on their typical broadcast home of Amazon Prime Video.
