Manningcast guest list today: Here's who will join Peyton, Eli Manning on 'Monday Night Football' image

After a week off, the Manning brothers are back. In Week 2, ESPN ran two "Monday Night Football" games, but Week 3 will see the Detroit Lions taking on the Baltimore Ravens in a standalone primetime matchup.

The single game allows ESPN to put forth multiple broadcasts, which sees the return of the "Manningcast" after a week off. The brothers had an iconic start to the season with a controversial ending, a Bill Murray sighting, and Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley saying that Eli Manning is who gave him the idea for his reverse hurdle from their time together with the New York Giants

With the second "Manningcast" of the season, the quarterback brothers are hosting an Olympic athlete, a current NFL quarterback and an accomplished actor.

Here is more on who will join the Manning brothers for Week 3's "Manningcast."

Manningcast Lions vs. Ravens guests

  • Michael Phelps
  • Daniel Jones
  • Jeff Daniels

Michael Phelps

The 40-year-old Phelps is a retired Olympic swimmer. He is the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time with 28 medals. He still holds the all-time records for Olympic gold medals (23), Olympic medals in individual events (16) and Olympic gold medals in individual events (13). In his illustrious career, Phelps set 39 world records, 29 individual and 10 as part of a relay, but he currently only has two of them, both as part of a relay team.

He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and remains an avid Ravens fan, even going so far as to teach some of the players how to swim ahead of the 2025 season.

Daniel Jones

Daniel "Indiana" Jones has been the story of the 2025 season. He was brought in as the heir apparent to Eli Manning in New York as the Giants drafted him with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Duke product showed off some dual-threat ability, but was never able to have it all click when he was in New York.

Jones was released in 2024 and signed with the Minnesota Vikings, spending most of the remaining season on their practice squad. The quarterback signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts ahead of the 2025 regular season, and won the preseason quarterback battle against Anthony Richardson.

Through three games as the Colts starter, Jones has completed 71.6% of his passes for 816 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also has 17 carries for 55 yards and three additional touchdowns.

Jeff Daniels

Daniels is an American actor and a lifelong Lions fan. Despite being born in Athens, Georgia, he grew up in a suburb of Detroit called Chelsea, Michigan. The actor also stayed local for college, attending Central Michigan University.

Daniels has played a variety of roles in his career. He is known for his parts in "Terms of Endearment," "Speed," "101 Dalmatians," "Pleasantville," "Steve Jobs," and "Dumb and Dumber." Daniels also had a large role in HBO's "The Newsroom," for which he won an Emmy.
