The Pittsburgh Steelers all of a sudden have a concern with running back Jaylen Warren ahead of the Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday.

The Steelers announced that Warren has been added to the injury report with an illness and he is now questionable to play on Monday night.

"We have added RB Jaylen Warren to the injury report as questionable (illness) for tonight’s game with Miami," the Steelers announced.

This now puts Warren's status for the Week 15 game in question.

Is Jaylen Warren playing tonight?

UPDATE: Since this article was published, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Warren is optimistic about his chances of playing on Monday night.

"Jaylen Warren woke up sick and is getting fluids, but I'm told he's optimistic about playing tonight," Pelissero reported.

END OF UPDATE

Answer: Probably

We would say Warren has a better chance to suit up than not.

That's because it's pretty rare for a player to miss a game because of an illness.

That said, the chances are increased here for Warren, seeing as how he has apparently gotten sick with just hours to go before kickoff.

If we don't get an update before inactives are released, confirmation on Warren will come an hour and a half before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on Monday night.

If he does suit up, we now have to worry about Warren seeing a limited workload if he isn't feeling 100%. Pittsburgh's chances of doing that are increased because they have a good backup in Kenneth Gainwell.

Who is Jaylen Warren's handcuff?

That would be Kenneth Gainwell, who has proven to be productive even when Warren has been in the lineup.

When Gainwell started in place of an injured Warren in Week 4, he ripped off 99 rushing yards and two scores while adding 35 receiving yards.

Gainwell is absolutely a viable starting option for Warren owners if the Steelers running back ends up getting ruled out.
