The Indianapolis Colts are just a few weeks away from the 2024 NFL Draft where they are hoping to add some talent to the depth chart.

After a relatively quiet free agency that included signing the majority of their big in-house players, the Colts will be running it back with a pretty similar team before the draft.

GRADES: Every move the Colts have made this offseason

There were a few changes made to the depth chart this offseason between signing a pair of outside free agents and a number of players leaving for other destinations.

Entering the 2024 NFL Draft, here's a look at the Colts depth chart on offense and defense:

Notes

  • Joe Flacco will work as the backup to Anthony Richardson, who is working his way back from shoulder surgery.
  • There is a need to add some depth behind Jonathan Taylor in the backfield, but there's a chance Trey Sermon and Evan Hull are competing for that role.
  • It is expected that the Colts will use an early pick at wide receiver in the draft. When that will be and what type of receiver they bring in remain mysteries.

Notes

  • This unit will look very similar to what they put on the field last year.
  • Expect an early pick—likely No. 15—to be used at cornerback in the draft. Though the return of Dallis Flowers from an Achilles injury adds more competition to room already.
  • The safety position could use more depth, especially behind Julian Blackmon, who was re-signed on a one-year deal.
  • Don't be surprised if the Colts continue to add to the trenches late on Day 2 or early on Day 3, especially if they trade back and acquire more picks.
