Week 13 is coming to a close, and there were some unexpected heroes that helped lead upset victories.

From the Carolina Panthers' win over the Los Angeles Rams, to four great games on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, Week 13 saw big moments that impacted the playoff race. As a result, many of the fastest plays during the weak came from lesser-known players, but they produced some of the best highlights of the season thus far.

As the NFL season hits the home stretch, players are looking to earn playing time either for the playoffs or for the 2026 season. Therefore, expect to see some impressive top speeds over the final five weeks of the season, leading into the postseason.

Here's a look at the fastest players in the NFL for Week 13.

1. Adonai Mitchell, WR, Jets (20.97 MPH)

AD Mitchell was part of the Sauce Gardner trade from the Indianapolis Colts to the New York Jets, and the former second round pick produced the best play of his young career on Sunday. Mitchell scored his first NFL touchdown, as he ran by Atlanta Falcons CB Mike Hughes to score a 52-yard touchdown. While Mitchell has had drop issues in the NFL, he held onto this pass from Tyrod Taylor to secure the highlight.

2. Mike Jackson, CB, Panthers (20.88 MPH)

One of the biggest highlights of the day belonged to Panthers CB Mike Jackson, who intercepted Matthew Stafford and ran it back for a touchdown in the Panthers' win over the Rams. That marked the veteran's third interception of the season, and his first career touchdown to help Carolina pull off the upset. What made it more special was that Stafford entered the game with a historic streak of avoiding interceptions, but the quarterback threw two on the day and also lost a fumble.

3. Isaiah Bond, WR, Browns (20.8 MPH)

Isaiah Bond was a talented player in college, and he briefly showed off his speed for the Cleveland Browns against the San Francisco 49ers. Bond took an end around carry for nine yards and a first down, producing the third-fastest speed of the week in the process. While Bond's play was fairly innocuous in the grand scheme of the game, it shows how the wide receiver can find success in the NFL.

4. Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers (20.7 MPH)

Chuba Hubbard got the Panthers' scoring started against the Rams with a 35-yard receiving touchdown to tie the game at seven on Sunday afternoon. The veteran running back isn't necessarily known for his speed, but he reached top gear on this play as Carolina got the sense that it could hang with the NFC powers.

5. Jaylen Wright, RB, Dolphins (20.48 MPH)

Jaylen Wright only had three carries for 16 yards in the Miami Dolphins' win against the New Orleans Saints, but he did reach over 20 MPH on a simple five-yard rush. The speedy Wright has 18 carries for 65 yards on the season, as he has sat behind De'Von Achane for the majority of the season.

6. Mason Tipton, WR, Saints (20.48 MPH)

Mason Tipton is becoming a staple on this list, as he had the third-fastest speed in Week 12 with a kickoff return for a touchdown. While he didn't reach 21 MPH this week, he did get to 20.48 MPH with another kickoff return that went for 36 yards. While the Saints are one of the NFL's worst teams, Tipton is proving to be a bright spot for the offense and special teams.

7. Keaton Mitchell, RB, Ravens (20.41 MPH)

Keaton Mitchell had the fastest play of Thanksgiving day, as the running back scored a touchdown in the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. While the Ravens couldn't complete the comeback, Mitchell's score got Baltimore within striking distance late in the third quarter. Mitchell ended the game with just two carries for 19 yards, but that touchdown was his biggest contribution of the game.

8. De'Von Achane, RB, Dolphins (20.37 MPH)

De'Von Achane is one of the fastest players in the NFL, and he showed off his speed again on Sunday afternoon. The running back took a pitch 29 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring in Miami against the Saints, once again placing in the top-10 of the fastest speeds of the week. Achane now has a career-high 1,034 rushing yards on the season, the first time he has surpassed 1,000 rushing yards since entering the NFL.

9. Caleb Williams, QB, Bears (20.31 MPH)

During the Chicago Bears big win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, Caleb Williams surpassed 20 MPH on a five-yard scramble. The reason for Williams' speed was his intent on reaching the first-down marker before getting hit, which he successfully did as he ran out of bounds.
