The Jacksonville Jaguars are trying not to give Travis Hunter too much to handle.

The two-way star out of Colorado already has a lot on his plate. He's trying to play cornerback and wide receiver in the NFL at the same time.

So the Jags' Liam Coen is limiting the overall offensive ask of Hunter.

On Wednesday, Coen was asked if Hunter will play a role in replacing the injured Dyami Brown, but he will not.

Coen explained that Hunter will only play the 'F' receiver spot in the Jaguars offense this season, not the 'Z' or 'X' or '12.'

Brown's snaps will go to Parker Washington, according to fantasy analyst Josh Norris.

For those who have Hunter in fantasy football, it's not great news.

Hunter had eight targets in Week 1 (6 catches, 33 yards), but that declined to six targets in Week 2 (3 catches, 22 yards) and two targets in Week 3 (1 catch, 21 yards).

He played 42 offensive snaps in each of the first two weeks, but that dropped to 37 snaps in Week 3.

His defensive snaps were just 6 in Week 1, but up to 43 apiece in Weeks 2 and 3.

Hunter has had to fill-in at cornerback more fully because of injuries there. It won't work the same on offense, since he has his one specific role on that side that he's already the first-stringer at.

It's hard to consider dropping Hunter in a fantasy league, but for now, he's probably someone to stash on the bench.

The Jaguars clearly believe Hunter can pull this off in the NFL, but they're being careful to make sure he doesn't have to deal with too much too soon.
