C.J. Stroud was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Texans. He came off the board right after Alabama's Bryce Young and was an instrumental piece in Houston's rebuild as it entered the DeMeco Ryans era.

Stroud took the NFL by storm, winning the league's Rookie of the Year Award in 2023. He took a step back in his second year of action, but he was also dealing with injuries, including the first concussion of his pro career. Stroud didn't win the Heisman Trophy in college or a national championship. However, he remains one of the most recognizable young quarterbacks in the league, likely due to his outstanding performance in his inaugural season.

Here is more information on Stroud's net worth and the amount of money he has earned throughout his career.

C.J. Stroud NIL earnings

C.J. Stroud was in college when the NIL money started taking off. He ended up making it to the NFL before it really peaked, but he still did well for himself. It helped that Stroud not only went to a Power-4 school, but that he was the quarterback for Ohio State.

On3 reported that Stroud's made $2.9 million from NIL while playing for the Buckeyes. Some outlets believe that was just for his senior year, but they don't provide the total for his college career.

Some of his NIL endorsements include Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW), Express, Value City Furniture, Kane Footwear, Dr. Teal's, eFuse, C4 Energy and Bentley.

Since he played for Ohio State, he was able to partake in the school's NIL Collective, which is called "THE Foundation." Upon getting to the NFL, Stroud contributed between $50,000 and $100,000 to the initiative.
