Week 5 of the NFL season has been a doozy, and it fittingly ends with the three-time defending AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs in action against the pleasantly surprising Jacksonville Jaguars.

Through four weeks, Jacksonville is among the eight one-loss teams in the NFL, with an impressive 3-1 record. On the other side, Kansas City has worked to get its season back on track, winning two consecutive games to improve to 2-2 after an 0-2 start to the year.

Jacksonville is off to its best start since 2018, and it's been fueled largely by the defense. The Jaguars lead the league in takeaways with nine in four games, and they've pulled out a pair of one-score wins in Weeks 3 and 4. Offensively, running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been one of the best ball carriers in the league this season, enjoying a resurgent year with 6.1 yards per carry

Kansas City lost by one score in Weeks 1 and 2, but picked itself off the mat to earn crucial wins in Weeks 3 and 4. Patrick Mahomes & Co. now have an opportunity to get above .500 in front of a prime-time audience.
