Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt made some headlines for his trash talk on the Chiefs before Sunday, but he certainly backed it up in the game.
At the end of the third quarter v s. Kansas City in Week 2, Taylor-Britt soared for an impressive one-handed interception, snagging Patrick Mahomes' second pick of the day.
The play itself was outstanding, but the levels behind it after Taylor-Britt's pregame comments about Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy also made it interesting.
Here's a look at the play Taylor-Britt made on Mahomes' pass in Chiefs vs. Bengals and the background on what the corner recently said about Worthy.

Just as the third quarter was ending, Mahomes made a throw downfield toward Worthy. However, Taylor-Britt stepped in front of the receiver, got his hand up on the ball, and hauled it in.

The play sent the game into the fourth quarter, with the Bengals taking possession.
It was also Mahomes' second interception of the day after LB Akeem Davis-Gaither recorded one earlier in the game.
What did Cam Taylor-Britt say about Xavier Worthy?
Taylor-Britt's interception over Worthy backed his pregame talk up. On Wednesday, Taylor-Britt was asked about Kansas City's wide receiver, and he downplayed Worthy's talent outside of his speed.
"Speed, that's about it," Taylor-Britt said, per ESPN. "He can run straight. Run jet sweeps and just run straight. He can't do too much else, so that's about it."

In Week 1 vs. The Ravens, Worthy recorded three receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown, as well as a 21-yard rushing score. His game-changing speed made an early impact for Kansas City, but Taylor-Britt wasn't concerned about slowing him down in Week 2.
"I feel like if you put your hands on him, he's only a hundred-something pounds," Taylor-Britt said. "If you put hands on him, you're going to stop his speed. So basically get your hands on him."
In Sunday's matchup, Taylor-Britt got the best of Mahomes and Worthy with his third-quarter interception.
