Bo Nix enjoyed a seemingly endless college career, starting at Auburn as a true freshman in 2019 and playing all the way through 2023 after transferring to Oregon.

Despite some ups and downs, the experience paid off — Nix turned in a final season that made him not only a Heisman Trophy finalist, but a first-round pick in the NFL Draft.

The transition to the NFL took some time, but by the back half of his rookie season with the Broncos, Nix played more like a veteran than a rookie. Denver has its answer at quarterback after nearly a decade of searching after Peyton Manning's retirement, and Nix could break the bank if his trajectory continues to point upward.

Here's a closer look at Nix's net worth, career earnings and more.

Bo Nix net worth

Nix has a reported net worth of about $1.5 million.

While that figure pales in comparison to some of the NFL's best quarterbacks, Nix is on track to increase his net worth considerably in just a handful of years. He only caught the tail end of the NIL surge in college football and made himself some money while at Oregon, and his rookie salary wasn't enough to significantly impact his net worth.

Between the endorsement deals that come with leading an NFL team to the playoffs as a rookie quarterback and the lucrative contract that could be coming down the line, Nix is likely to see his net worth rise later in the years ahead.

Bo Nix NFL contract details

Nix signed a four-year, $18.6 million fully guaranteed contract after the Broncos selected him No. 12 overall in the 2024 draft. The deal includes a fifth-year option for 2028, as is the case for all first-round picks.

There isn't any real room for rookies to negotiate when it comes to their first NFL contracts, at least in regard to total value, but Nix's strong rookie season set him up to potentially cash in when he becomes extension-eligible in 2027. Nix's cap hit is set to increase season-by-season on his rookie contract, but he already received more than half of the deal's total value through his signing bonus.

Bo Nix NFL career earnings

Nix made $11.15 million in his rookie season, the vast majority of which was included in his signing bonus after being drafted by the Broncos. While his cap hit is closer to the deal's average annual value each season, Nix is only set to make about $7.5 million more in cash through the remainder of his contract, excluding the fifth-year option.

Bo Nix NIL earnings

NIL wasn't even legal until Nix's third season at the college level, but his excellent finish to his career at Oregon allowed him to make some money before heading to the NFL.

On3 valued Nix's NIL earnings at $1.7 million entering the 2023 season, though that is only an estimate.

Nix's NIL deals included Bose, Subway, Topps, Bojangles and Oregon's NIL collective. By late 2023, Nix had also signed endorsement deals with Raising Cane's, 7-Eleven and even Google Shopping, according to On3

While at Oregon, Nix hammered out deals with the following brands:

  • Topps
  • Raising Cane's
  • Google shopping
  • Bojangles
  • Fanatics
  • Jacksons Food Stores

Closer to the 2024 NFL Draft, Nix also engaged in partnerships with Old Spice, USAA and Buffalo Wild Wings. In 2025, Colorado-based Ent Credit Union revealed Nix was filming a commercial for their company.

Nix hasn't made many appearances in commercials to this point in his career, but he did appear along with his wife in a 2023 ad for Google Shopping in conjunction with GQ Sports.

Bo Nix business ventures and philanthropy

Nix has been active in the Denver community since being drafted by the Broncos. In 2025, he helped raise money for ALS research with "Bolieve" shirts that serve as a play on his first name. That effort served as a continuation of Nix's support for ALS research during his time at Oregon.

Nix also hosted a youth football camp for Denver-area kids in the spring of 2025, speaking to campers and throwing footballs around with them.

Where does Bo Nix live?

Nix and his wife, Izzy, purchased a mansion in Castle Rock, Colo., just south of Denver, in June 2025.

The home includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms and was sold for $4 million after fetching less than $1 million in 2016. Interestingly, Nix purchased his home from a former NFL player: it was previously owned by former Patriots RB Shane Vereen. The house includes a four-car garage and a recreation room that opens up to an outdoor patio.

Nix was born in Arkansas but grew up in Alabama, attending Pinson Valley High School before committing to Auburn.
