Ben Johnson's first season in Bears colors has gotten off to as good a start as Chicagoans could have hoped for.
The Bears head coach came to the Windy City with hopes of bringing about a resurgence within Chicago's ranks. Through 10 games, he has done just that, propelling the Bears to the top of the NFC North — all of that despite sporting a negative point differential.
Chicago still faces strong competition from the Packers and Lions in their pursuit of a divisional crown. But their position is far more promising than it was this time last year.
Their Week 12 foe finds itself in a similar position in the AFC North standings, albeit in slightly different circumstances. The Steelers lead the AFC North with a 6-4 record. And yet, their placement is under threat from the Ravens, a side with arguably more firepower at its disposal.
All of that is to say, Pittsburgh needs positive results. Can Mike Tomlin's side find it against a confident Chicago bunch? Only time will tell.
