The 2025 season was not the start of the Aaron Glenn era that every New York Jets fan was hoping for.

Sitting at 3-13 and heavily favored to lose their Week 18 game against their AFC East division rival Buffalo Bills, the Jets will finish with double-digit losses for the sixth consecutive season.

But don't expect a coaching change after a horrendous first season, as Glenn was predicted to remain in place as the head coach entering the 2026 offseason.

Bleacher Report predicts Aaron Glenn will get another chance with Jets

According to Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon, New York will give Glenn another shot as head coach.

"The Jets held a fire sale ahead of the trade deadline and have been unsurprisingly uncompetitive since. Now, that fire sale took place because they had already played their way out of contention under Glenn, but a lot of that fell on the offense and quarterback issues that he only had so much control over," wrote Gagnon.

"He is a first-time head coach in a tough spot. Maybe the Jets hoped for a little more this year, but a lot has conspired against them. The organization needs to exhibit some patience here."

Firing Glenn after one season would make the Jets' job radioactive. What quality candidate would want to work for an organization that has moved on from three coaches in the last two calendar years?

New York's best bet is to ride Glenn out for at least one more season and hope he can figure out a way to turn things around.
