At 0-7, everything is on the table for the New York Jets.

With the trade deadline just around the corner, any player could be available for the right price in Florham Park, New Jersey.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the names that have come up the most surrounding the Jets have been running back Breece Hall, wide receiver Allen Lazard, and safety Tony Adams. However, one defensive star not named by Schefter sent a cryptic message on social media regarding his current stance with the team.

Jermaine Johnson's tweet fuels trade speculation

Jets defensive end Jermaine Johnson shared an interesting post on X after the team's 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers, possibly revealing his stance on a potential trade out of New York.

"Laying it all out there man… something gotta give," wrote Johnson.

Now, the former Florida State standout could be referring to the Jets' most recent defeat.

But considering his name has been thrown out there as a trade candidate by SNY's Connor Hughes, it's not hard to imagine Johnson warming up to the idea as the losses keep piling up.

The Jets' 26th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft has arguably been New York's best pass rusher since joining the team.

In 37 games played, Johnson has totaled 11 sacks, 14.5 stuffs, and one interception taken back for a touchdown.

He would certainly be a welcome addition to any NFL defense, but in the same report from Hughes, he said the price is "a lot," and the Jets would only part with Johnson for a 2026 second or third-round pick.
