The New York Jets are coming off their second win of the NFL season, but as Rich Cimini of ESPN reports, star wide receiver Garrett Wilson is going to miss some time.

He re-injured his knee that held him out of the Jets' Week 8 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and will now miss the next 3-4 weeks. For fantasy managers, it's a tough blow right when it seemed like he was returning.

Now that Wilson is slated to miss some extended time, is there any Jets wide receiver worth adding off the waiver wire?

Are there any Jets WRs worth adding in fantasy off the waiver wire?

Wilson is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, leaving the Jets' wide receiver wide open to fantasy value. Mason Taylor, the team's tight end, is worth a pickup in PPR and TE-premium leagues, as he could become the focal point of the passing attack going forward.

The discussion surrounding wide receivers from the Jets in fantasy is a bit different. John Metchie, Tyler Johnson, Isaiah Williams, Arian Smith, Adonai Mitchell, and Allen Lazard are the team's remaining wide receivers.

Lazard and Mitchell were inactive for the Jets' Week 10 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, while the rest of the receivers did very little. Smith had a 13-yard carry, but no targets.

Williams had one catch for four yards, Johnson didn't catch his lone target, and Metchie caught one pass for three yards and ran for negative seven yards on one attempt.

While Wilson being out could lead to one of these receivers getting more work, the biggest issue is Justin Fields at quarterback. He doesn't throw the ball much, if at all.

If Tyrod Taylor were the starter, then one of these receivers would be worth keeping an eye on. But, as long as Fields is starting, it's not a good idea to rely on any Jets wide receiver for fantasy purposes.

While it's worth keeping an eye on which receiver is on the field the most, which will most likely be either Smith or Johnson, the Jets' wide receivers should stay on the waiver wire in most cases.

Taylor being named the starter could make things interesting, with Johnson likely being the best option, but there's no sure thing with the Jets' receiver room after Wilson went down.

Fantasy managers are better off exploring other options, as the Jets' passing offense isn't potent enough to make any receiver fantasy relevant if Fields is starting.
