The New York Jets have a new injury concern with running back Breece Hall.
On Wednesday, the Jets revealed that not only was Hall added to the injury report this week, he won't be practicing on Wednesday due to knee soreness.
"Another injury note: RB Breece Hall not practicing due to knee soreness," ESPN's Rich Cimini reported.
Hall did appear to get shaken up on a play in Week 14, but he was able to finish out the game, which is a good sign he isn't dealing with anything serious.
Nevertheless, we will certainly be monitoring his status for the rest of this week. The next update on Hall will come on Thursday, when the Jets drop their second injury report of the week.
While Hall's status is irrelevant to the Jets, who are already eliminated from playoff contention, it is important to note for fantasy football owners.
Week 15 marks the start of the fantasy football playoffs for the vast majority of leagues and despite the fact he is on an awful team, Hall remains a valuable asset.
Entering Week 15, Hall ranks as RB16 overall, which makes him an every-week RB2 option.
In the event Hall doesn't play, the Jets would hand the reins of the backfield to Isaiah Davis, who would amount to a flex option based on volume alone.
If you're a Hall owner in fantasy, you might want to get a jump on things and add Davis just in case before someone else snatches him up.
