The fallout from the New York Jets' 37-22 loss to the Dallas Cowboys has been as you would expect from such a performance - brutal.

With the Jets now slumped at 0-5 with no signs of improvement, the Cowboys game was a chance to show something with Dak Prescott missing four starting offensive linemen, along with CeeDee Lamb, and the Jets got blown off the MetLife Stadium turf.

Entering the fourth quarter, New York was trailing 30-6. Let that sink in. With a Dallas offense that had injuries everywhere and a defense that gives up 30 points for fun.

And former NFL player, now analyst, Damien Woody, didn't hold back in his assessment of the Jets' efforts.

“That was an embarrassing performance by the Jets,” Woody said on ESPN’s GetUp. “I could easily get on Aaron Glenn, but I’m going to the players. Do you have any pride in that locker room? That performance that you guys put out there yesterday was absolutely atrocious.”

Jets in a world of hurt

We knew that this franchise turnaround wasn't going to happen overnight, like the Washington Commanders, because the Jets had too many problems to fix in one offseason, and we are seeing how tough a road is ahead for Glenn.

No, he won't be fired (in my opinion) because he needs time to get his ideas across, and the NFL is a results business, and right now, the right ones aren't being obtained.

But surely the higher-ups knew this was a possibility after the offseason cleanout, granted, maybe not 0-5, but a tough season.

Woody put the Jets on full blast, and you can easily make the case that he was right in everything he said.
