The New York Jets will have their hands full on Sunday when they travel to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens.
New York enters as a near two-touchdown underdog against the red-hot Ravens, who have won four straight, three with quarterback Lamar Jackson back under center.
During his press conference on Friday, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn spoke about the difficulties of defending a player who has won league MVP twice, such as Jackson.
Aaron Glenn talks about facing Lamar Jackson
When questioned if Jackson had appeared to be his usual self recently, given his ongoing struggles with persistent injuries throughout the current season.
"You know he does, he does. And if he doesn't look like himself, he still looks pretty [expletive] good," Glenn said to the press.
"So, again he'll be a challenge like he is with everybody else, so we have to be on our P's and Q's defensively to make sure we contain him."
Containing Jackson is easier said than done, but New York will certainly try their best on Sunday.
This season, the ex-Louisville star has achieved a 68% completion rate, throwing for 1442 yards, with 14 touchdowns against just three interceptions over seven starts.
He's still running the ball effectively as well, averaging 5.8 yards per carry with one touchdown on the ground.
To secure a victory against the Ravens, the Jets must devise strategies to contain Jackson's offense and simultaneously limit Derrick Henry's impact.
