The New York Jets' 2025 season has sunk to a new low after the 37-22 loss to the Dallas Cowboys dropped Aaron Glenn's team to 0-5.
In a game where penalties, all 10 of them, coupled with a brutal fumble as New York was only down one score in the second quarter, it was a dark day at MetLife Stadium, with fans seen heading for the exits in the third quarter, as the Jets were down 30-6.
Right now, there isn't much light at the end of the tunnel for Glenn in his first season as an NFL head coach, but most knew this was always going to be a difficult year.
And Glenn remains steadfast in his conviction that the team will emerge from this on the other side.
It's a tough game," Glenn said. "It's coached and played by real men. Listen, I'm going to embrace this challenge. All right? Just like any other challenge. We're going to figure out as a as a team, we're going to figure out how to get out this hole. So, me being the head coach, listen, we're 0 and five. Okay, I got it. But we're going to figure this thing out and get out of this hole."

Jets must continue the fight
One thing we know about Glenn from his time in Detroit is that when adversity hits, that is when he's at his best, and now is the time to batten down the hatches and dig in. Glenn isn't shying away from the 0-5 start, but he has to get his locker room to follow him, and after no wins in the opening five weeks, that can be tough.
New York has played some good football, and some downright awful football, so the challenge is to close the gap between their best and worst, which right now is huge.
There is a lot of doom and gloom and "here we go again" around the Jets right now, but Glenn must be given time. This was never going to be a quick fix, and we are seeing exactly why that is right now.
But the fight has to continue.
