The New York Giants won't have quarterback Jaxson Dart in the lineup once again for the Week 12 matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Dart suffered a concussion in Week 10 that forced his early exit from the contest. After sitting out in Week 11, Dart returned to practice in Week 12 but he was not cleared to play and was ultimately ruled out.

After a two-game absence, will the Giants get the rookie sensation back for the Week 13 contest against the New England Patriots?

Here's everything we know.

When is Jaxson Dart coming back?

Dart's status for Week 13 has yet to be confirmed, but all signs are pointing to him returning to action.

Dart's ability to practice this past week and travel with the team to Detroit are two big signs he's very close.

"Jaxson Dart is traveling with Giants to Detroit," Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com said on Saturday. "He has already been ruled out for tomorrow, but obviously a good sign that he has not suffered a setback in concussion protocol."

Adding to that, Dart has an extra day to get right, as the Giants don't play until Monday night in Week 13.

Dart also took to social media to deliver a strong hint that his return is coming soon.

While the Giants are already eliminated from playoff contention, it still makes sense to bring Dart back this season.

The Giants will have five more games after Week 12 and those contests will allow for more development time for Dart, which will further help him hit the ground running in 2026.
