The New York Giants have a new potential star at defensive tackle.
Darius Alexander was chosen by the Giants with the No. 65 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft on Friday night.
He's the latest Toledo Rockets star to come to the NFL.
Here's what you need to know:

He starred in college at MAC powerhouse Toledo.

Darius Alexander 40-yard dash
Alexander ran the 40-yard dash in 4.95 seconds.
To go that fast at 300-plus pounds is impressive.
Toledo stars in NFC East
Alexander will try to match the NFC East's top rookie from a year ago.
Quinyon Mitchell shone at cornerback for the Eagles.
He, like Alexander, played his college ball for Jason Candle and the Toledo Rockets.
Learning from Dexter Lawrence
Darius Alexander gets a chance to learn from Dexter Lawrence with the Giants.
That's always a good thing, when a rookie has someone to model their game after.
Alexander has that in New York.
