The New York Giants suffered a very frustrating loss at the hands of the Detroit Lions in Week 12. After leading the game 17-7, the Giants allowed the Lions to outscore them 27-10 en route to an overtime loss.

This came in spite of several trick plays that worked in the Giants' favor. Devin Singletary took a handoff and threw it back to Jameis Winston, who then launched a touchdown to Wan'Dale Robinson for the first score of the game. Winston then caught a touchdown after wide receiver Gunner Olszewski threw it to him on another trick play.

Unfortunately for the Giants, Jahmyr Gibbs put up three touchdowns and the Lions rallied to win. Many fans were understandably frustrated, but so, too, was Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers. The young star who is out for the season shared his thoughts in a now-deleted post on X.

"Sometimes I think they [are] making us lose on purpose!" Nabers wrote, via Bleacher Report. "Cause it's no way, bro you throw the ball instead of [running] it to make [them] burn 2 timeouts? Then you [don't] kick the field goal??? Then they have to go down and score!! Football common sense!! Am I missing something?"

Nabers clearly has thoughts about how interim head coach Mike Kafka handled the game. And while it's fair to ask questions about losing a game that was in hand, Kafka has had the Giants in range to win against the Green Bay Packers and Lions without Jaxon Dart, Cam Skattebo, or Nabers himself in the lineup. New York will travel to New England in Week 13 to face the 10-2 Patriots.
