The New York Giants made a splash move during the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, acquiring Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart in a trade.

The deal came late in the first round after the Giants already used the No. 3 overall pick to land Penn State star Abdul Carter. New York traded the Nos. 34 and 99 picks along with a 2026 third-round selection in order to move up to the No. 25 pick, which was owned by the Houston Texans.

With Carter and Dart now on the board, the Giants potentially have a pair of long-term cornerstone pieces at arguably the two most important positions in the game.
